As we accompany catechumens on their journey of faith, we’re always looking for good sources for catechesis. There’s one source we might be overlooking that is right in front of our eyes!
Frank Lloyd Wright, the great architect, was often quoted as saying, “We create our buildings. Then they create us.” We can say the same for our church spaces. Our churches are filled with signs and symbols that teach and hand on our faith in such basic ways, but only if we stop to look deeply and reflect upon them.
In this short video, Diana takes us through a brief catechesis on the doors of the church and what they reveal about who Christ is and what it means to live as a disciple.
