I’ve just finished the first draft of a new book for catechumens and candidates in the RCIA process. My goal was to help the catechumens and candidates understand what it means to see and respond to the world through Catholic eyes. The book isn’t a catechetical text. That’s what their parish formation sessions are for.
I’m writing a guidebook for catechumens and candidates. My hope is to give them some ideas about how to look at the world through Catholic eyes. The book is not intended to be a “catechism” that gives them an outline of the faith. I figure you’re already doing that in your catechetical sessions with them.
Several people have reported trouble playing back the video. We have a few ideas that might help, but we are not too sharp about computer stuff ourselves. So if you have a techie friend, he or she can probably solve your problem more easily than we can. That said, here are a couple of things
