    1. Hi Laura. “RCIC” is a misnomer. There is no rite with that title in the church. Currently, we only have the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The new translation, Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, has been approved and will be available to us in November 2024. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults has the same adaptations for children of catechetical age as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. The only difference is in the translation of the language from Latin into English.
