As we enter into the last part of the liturgical year, this is a good time for catechumenate ministers to think about how to help catechumens, candidates, and all the faithful understand time in a new way. Because as Christians, we encounter “God’s time” in a different way than we do with our everyday activities.
That difference can be described as “chronos” time versus “kairos” time. And the heart of that difference is the promise of hope that we have received in Christ.
In this short video, Diana gives you an easy way to describe this difference to your catechumens and candidates so that they can learn to see every moment of their days as God’s time filled with that promise of hope.
