  1. I tell my volunteers and co- workers in jail and prison ministry we have to be present to those we encounter in their chaos. We have to walk softly, carry a big stick (Jesus), and always tell the truth. No one changes over night, as a conversation I can testify to that. Coming into the church I my 30’s as a favor to my wife and daughters was an action. Having an experience with the Holy Spirit through a child’s death turned my thought process into a better understanding of having a relationship with Christ. No as a Deacon and Director of a large Correctional Ministry program, I try to help others it is a process we help them walk through when their ready, not us.

    1. Hi Deacon Alvin. Thanks so much for sharing your story. Thank you for saying “yes” to the Holy Spirit and for all your work in your important and vital ministry. Blessings.
