  1. Anne Marie Fourre

Our inquirers and catechumens are actively invited into any parish group that may fit them: Young Adults, Young Families, Special Needs Support. Members of service groups such as St Vincent de Paul, Pastoral Care Ministry (visiting the sick and homebound) and Welcome the Stranger refugee support are guest speakers in the Catechumenate, and invite them to participate in specific efforts as a group or in pairs. Catechumens are encouraged to join spiritual enrichment programs such as the weekly Scripture Reflection or seasonal offerings.

  2. I’m going to suggest to our parish RCIA Team to have a parishioner who is involved in one and each of these bulleted encounters to stand at the pulpit and share from their heart what it means to them. Why they go, K of C breakfast? What do they get out of it? etc. I believe that a personal witness has a greater impact than anything else!
