The Year of Saint Paul
Reading II
Brothers and sisters:
You have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace
that was given to me for your benefit,
namely, that the mystery was made known to me by revelation….
The way of faith
- God has revealed God’s self fully by sending his own Son, in whom he has established his covenant for ever. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 73)
- Faith is a personal adherence of the whole person to God who reveals God’s self. It involves an assent of the intellect and will to the self-revelation God has made through deeds and words. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 176)
- Even when he reveals himself, God remains a mystery beyond words. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 230)
