The way of faith
- Jesus did not abolish the Law of Sinai, but rather fulfilled it with such perfection that he revealed its ultimate meaning and redeemed the transgressions against it.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 592) - The seventh commandment enjoins the practice of justice and charity in the administration of earthly goods and the fruits of human labor.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2451) - The seventh commandment forbids theft. Theft is the usurpation of another’s goods against the reasonable will of the owner.
