At TeamRCIA, we’ve been intensely focused creating a simple-yet-comprehensive training program specifically designed for parish RCIA team members like you.
Like you, we have been on a constant search for a training resource that prepares busy volunteers for effective RCIA ministry. Over the years, we’ve found lots of really helpful material, but we still haven’t found the one resource that would provide a comprehensive training for the important ministry of initiation.

So we created it!

Here’s why I think this is important. This course includes everything an RCIA team member needs to succeed in forming Christians for life. More importantly, this course gives you the confidence to move your catechumens and candidates out of the classroom and into the heart of the parish. This is exactly the kind of formation Pope Francis called for in his letter, “The Light of Faith.”

Faith, in fact, needs a setting in which it can be witnessed to and communicated, a means which is suitable and proportionate to what is communicated. For transmitting a purely doctrinal content, an idea might suffice, or perhaps a book, or the repetition of a spoken message. But what is communicated in the Church…is the new light born of an encounter with the true God, a light which touches us at the core of our being and engages our minds, wills and emotions, opening us to relationships lived in communion.
